1.1 Unused and Unopened Products
To be eligible for a return and refund, the product must be:
- Unused
- Unopened
- In the same condition as when you received it
- In original packaging with all accessories and documentation included
1.2 Proof of Purchase
A valid proof of purchase—order number, receipt, or invoice—is required to initiate any return or refund.
1.3 Timeframe
A return or refund request must be submitted within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Requests beyond 30 days may not be accepted.
- Non-Eligible Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Products that have been opened, used, installed, or are not in original condition
- Items purchased on sale or during promotional periods
- Gift cards
- Downloadable/digital software products
- Custom orders or special-order items
- Batteries or products showing signs of wear, damage, leakage, swelling, or improper handling

3.2 Return Authorization (RA)
If your request meets return criteria, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number.
The RA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.
3.3 Packaging and Shipping Requirements
- Pack the product securely in its original packaging
- Include all accessories, labels, manuals, and documentation
- Include a copy of the proof of purchase
- Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
- A trackable shipping method is strongly recommended
Canadian Battery Store is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
- Refund Process
4.1 Inspection and Approval
Once the product is received, our team will inspect it to verify eligibility.
Refunds are approved only if the product meets all return criteria.
4.2 Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 3–10 business days).
4.3 Deductions and Exclusions
The following will be deducted or applied to all returns:
- 30% restocking fee
- All return shipping costs (customer’s responsibility)
- Original shipping charges (non-refundable)
If the product is deemed used, opened, or not in resellable condition, it will not be accepted, and the customer will be responsible for all costs to have the product returned to them.
Products arriving damaged will be rejected and not eligible for refund.
4.4 Cancelled Orders
Refunds for cancelled orders will be issued at the full purchase price, minus a merchant/bank processing fee of 3.5% + 15 cents.
Refunds typically take 3–10 business days to process depending on the payment method.
If the original payment method is no longer valid, the refund may be issued by check or money order.
For credit/debit card payments, the issuing bank may take up to 14 business days after processing to reflect the refund on the statement.
- Damaged or Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact customer support immediately
- Provide photos or videos of the issue
- Keep all packaging materials
We will provide instructions on whether the product should be returned for replacement or refund.

Canadian Battery Store cannot be held responsible for damage caused by external factors such as:
- Carrier negligence
- Extreme weather
- Mishandling during transit

- Exchanges
Exchanges are available for eligible unused, unopened products within 30 days.
Customers are responsible for return and re-shipment costs.
If the replacement product is more expensive, the customer must pay the difference.
